I don't normally write reviews but in this case it was well deserved. My wife and I ate at this restaurant and like most were blown away by the customer service we received. They greeted us first by opening the door for us, checked on us during our meal to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, and thanked us at the end for coming and opened the door for us when we were done. I was skeptical at first because they ranked so high in reviews and this place was located in Delta/Surrey but I must say I was really impressed. I think Ive been to all the Japanese restaurants along the Westcoast and Akari is absolutely top notch. Their black rice specialty rolls and tempura were especially memorable. The owner told me they have a tempura master who have been making tempura for 20 years! Ill definitely be back with my family and friends. Read more
